I guess, I've neglected my blog for a long long long long long time.

Lots of reason why I've go on hiatus.

Work have been hectic.. Seriously man, try look at drawings which are so big that they can't fit on your table every single day.
I kinda stop documenting my everyday life while taking photos. So, no photos = no blog post.
My blog-spiration is blocked. Inspiration + blog = Blog-spiration. Don't really know whats the reason of it.
The amount of personal stuff I would want to say but don't really want it to be shown to the public.

I think that's about it....

So am I back entirely?

As in bl0g regularly....

I don't really know.

Depends on my mood I guess.

Since blogging is not really my full time job and I don't earn money from it.

So just a quick update of my life.

I've gotten myself a full time job. Stressful but team mates are awesome. So it kinda balance it up.

Have been attached for more than 1 year. Celebrated our 1 year anniversary and took the cable car ride.

Put on some weight. But try to keep myself healthy by having kick boxing exercise lesson once a week.

Decided to grow my hair long, so my hair is not getting any shorter in the next few months.

Awaiting for my annual Christmas family trip to Bangkok.

My Avril Lavigne concert tickets.

Super duper excited that I'm gonna meet Avril soon.
I think I'm gonna do some pink extensions for the concert. =)

3 more days till the start of my working life.
I'm glad that Diona is gonna start working with me.
But she will only be there for 3 months.
Because she's super duper smart to get in to NTU.
I'm happy for her...
At the same time feel kinda sad that she's not in the office with me.
Oh well.
At least we stay quite near to each other so it's not too bad at all.

I've sold out a few elephants.
Hopefully I'll sell out all the elephants by next saturday.
There's a gig next saturday at Singapore Flyer.
The gig is to help to raise funds for the red cross in helping Japan.
There should be a donation box over there.
After I'm done in selling off all my elephants, I'm gonna put the money in the donation box.

Sigh.
It's kinda sad when my concession expires.
I guess all graduating students feel the same way as me.
Now even I go out I'll try my best to see what's the cheapest way to get to my destination.
Kinda sucks.
You know, my company is at Clark Quay.
I have even counted how much does it cost from my place to Clark Quay.
One trip cost $1.91. Basically it's $2 lahs.
One day I will spent $4 on transport.
Cause it's back and forth mahs.
So that means I need to spent like $100 per month on transport.
That's crazy.

I told my mum about it.
She said.
"$100 per month only mahs.."
Hello mummy....
In case you don't know, my pay is like shit even before deducting the 20% CPF.

The transport fare is gonna increase again.
This is crazy.
If Frederick is reading my blog now.
He will definitely say "Vote wisely".

Oh well.
I can't even vote yet.
But I do agree that the rising cost in living is becoming a problem now.
Even eating Nasi Brayani at Causeway point Banquet cost $5.50.
$5.50 with one drumstick, rice, curry and one koropoke only.
You tell me.
Scary or not.

Got to enjoy my last few days of ultimate freedom.

Hey ho!

It have been awhile since I've update my blog.

Alright. I'm here now....

Life pretty much the same, just that right now my body clock is so screwed up.
Screwed up like sleeping at 3am in the morning and waking up at 12pm.
I'm such lucky girl to have my grandma to prepare lunch for me the minute I wake up.
Gonna enjoy such life until I start working.

So.....
What have I been doing during these slacking days.

I went Genting with my secondary school friends.
Had lots of fun there and every night drinking Starbucks because we were all using the free wifi in starbucks.
I think my friends were getting old?
Cause I'm the only one that go for the space shot!
Shiok only.

Had a couple of class outings too.
Like going for the Kbox weekdays student promotion.
One of my recent class outing is to go for Thai food and durians for dessert!

Other then that I also went ubin and cycle for the first time.

Other then that, I finally get to eat marutama ramen with my usual ramen gang.
After ramen we head over to Yello Jello.

Took lots of crazy photos in Jello.

Went to Huili and Ben Lee wedding too.
This time Liting and Hui Wen was with me.

As usual, wedding stirs up Hui Wen's emotion a bit.
Well, she's a very romantic person lahs.
It's a good thing that she still see wedding so beautifully.

No doubt. It's hard to find your soulmate.
When you've found one.
Indeed, it's a beautiful moment when you say "I do..." to each other.

Other than doing all these, I have been visiting Philip place a lot.
I went there and fly some dragons and bounce some basketball in his xbox.
I even started to watch NBA with him every Saturday morning.

Went Malaysia a few times too.
To catch a few movies.
We had too much time to spare.
The movie tickets there are cheaper in Singpore.

I'm here to announce that....

My studies are officially over in Singapore Polytechnic.

Sorry guys, if you're reading this and still having papers.

I finish my last paper on wednesday.
So wednesday after papers went class outing with classmates.
We had lunch and go to some impromptu K session.

I got to say...
I really love my classmates.
It's amazing how close we are right now.

It's amazing that how time flies too.
Fred was right..
I can still remember how we were like when we're in year 1.

Memories did flashed back.
I can still remember some of the stupid jokes we had in class.
The endless eating feast during every break time at FC1.
How we celebrate our classmates birthdays with the melted birthday cake.
Lecturers having a bad time due to us.
How we will help each other in academic wise.

You know.
I really think that I'm lucky.
I got friends tell me that their classmates were really mean and selfish.

I'm glad that we were nothing like that.
We share past year papers when one of us got hold of it.
We print notes for everyone and collect the exact amount of the printed notes.
We helped each other fill up the water bottle whoever went out of the class.
We ask anyone wanna get food if we're gonna go get it for ourselves.
We remind each other to wear covered shoes for practical.

The list can still go on and on.....

Sigh.
I really miss everyone.

It's true you know.
You will be lost after you complete your polytechnic studies.
Right now I'm kinda lost.
I don't have anything planned out yet except for my Genting trip and a few outings.

I wanna get a job.
But working Part time till my graduation ceremony the duration is kinda short.
What worse is that I need to buy need clothes as work uniform.

So....

I've decided....

I'm not gonna work part time anymore.
I'm gonna enjoy till Graduation.
I'm going back to SP.Primers and see what work can I get myself involved in.

I'm just gonna do this for the next one or two months. :)

Happy? happy?

Because I said that I will take a break from blogging until all my papers are done.
But I went out with my classmates today after school.
Since I got the time....
Might as well just blog lahs!

Heh heh.

So, a few of us went over to Lucky Plaza and have the famous Ayam Penyet.
Hohohoho.
The chilli, is shiok de lors...
When we reach there, we saw our cousemates there!
A whole group of them were eating ayam penyet too. Such a coincident eh?

I remember seeing chris almost died from the chilli.
Fred's lips were red and a little swollen.
All of us had red lips!
Right now, I can still feel the burning sensation in my stomach.
Imagine if I go and run 3km right now.
I think I will lie on the streets after 1.5km because my stomach will be on FIRE.

After our ayam penyet feast, walked around at Takashimaya.
Seriously, my classmates can really eat and eat and eat.
Just finish the ayam penyet, go Taka and buy some bread and after that buy some mini doughnuts.
After the mini doughnuts, we walked over to wisma and try the new bubble tea.

Tsk tsk tsk.

Well, I only tried Honey aloe vera.
The taste so so lors.
I rather you spent lesser amount of money and buy some honey aloe vera at some herbal drink shop.
The pearls?
Too nua. I don't like.
So far Koi's pearls is still the best to me.

After our bubble tea session and off we home sweet home.
Didn't wanna waste my spectacle-less face.

My classmates are adorable right?

My last day of having lessons in SP are over.
We had a mock interview test.
That's explain why we're all in our formal wear.

That day we celebrated our class February babies birthday too.
Thanks peifen for buying the cake.
Cut the cake in FC1.
I can't say that FC1 is our favourite foodcourt.
But that is the foodcourt that we normally go.

Talking about FC1.
I'm gonna miss the yong tau foo stall, vegetarian wedges and maggie goreng!

So after our interview session, Fred gave us a card each.
Which was super surprising.

After my interview, met Philip.
Well, he was telling me that he's gonna miss his classmate and etc.
So I just sat there and listen to him.

That struck me for a moment.
Actually, I haven't been thinking on how much I will miss them after I graduate.
Maybe it's because I'll see them the next day.
The idea of not seeing them as often haven't kick in yet.

I will miss them.
Really hope that we will keep in contact even after when I graduate.

Gonna update a short post.

Anyway~
I'm so in love with raining days.
The sound of rain falling down and hit on the ground surface.
The cool breeze.
The view of the streets with people wearing jackets on.

Of course there are some things that I hate about the rain.
Is that you will get water in your shoes!
Especially when you're wearing canvas shoes.
Think about the muddy water, your white canvas shoes will turn black or brown instantly.

So Chinese New Year is around the corner.
In like, 2 days?
Aunt Van is coming back tomorrow.
This year reunion dinner is at my place.
How cool is that.
I'm gonna take photos of the food.
I'm gonna dip beef slices in the steamboat!

Yesterday, I went down to queensway with yuan.
I got my vans.
Wanted to get the black one.
But, they ran out of my size.
I bought a navy blue on instead.
They ran out of stocks too so I've no choice but to get the display piece.
Sucks to have small feet.
Sucks to be short and that is why I got small feet.

The shutter speed is so damn slow.
Which turn out that the pictures that I took most probably will be blur photos.
So after reading the reviews of the camera.
I realise I can actually change the exposure to +2.0 which will increase the shutter speed.
And they really do!

How dumb can I be?

Alright.
I have my rainy day gears on.
Which is.

NO SLIPPERS and Beanie.

If you're thinking why no slippers.
Because my slippers no longer have any friction anymore!
To save my face if I slip and fall. Which is quite a high possibility that it will happen.

I've reserve the seats at Pitstop this Friday for my class outing.
It's too bad that Shini can't join us.
I think I'm gonna tie a super big bow on my head for my class outing.
Need to look pretty for photos.

Anyway, I'm kind of lost for my future career.
There's a few factors.

First, I know my sucky result will bring me no where near University like NUS or NTU.
Second, everyone have been talking about the amount of stress QS will face.
Thirdly, I don't even know do I have any interest for any of the QS job.

See?
I guess I'll just take each step at a time.
Sometimes I'm really envious of those who know have planned out their future.

I had trouble sleeping yesterday.
Still, I got up early for school and I'm the first to reach class.
Not that I'm early or I'm on time.
It's just that all of my classmates were later than me.

Classes ends at around 2.30pm.
The moment I reach home, I was dead beat.
Took a 2 hours power nap.

I love my new bedsheets so much that I like to camwhore with it.

I'm halfway through Twilight.
Yes.
I only started reading the book like now.

Anyway, the book is definitely better than the movie.
While reading the book I wouldn't imagine Edward Cullen face as Robert Pattinson.
Cause it just look simply wrong for a "perfect face" that Stephenie Meyer described.

It gets a little irritating when "Perfect face" keeps coming out.
Also how muscular Edward was.
No offense to Team Edward fans.
Just a personal opinion.

Talking about Twilight, I was walking around PageOne at Vivo city with gold gold in the hopes to look for some Japanese magazine.
Which we fail to do so.

I came across this book called "Nightlight".
It's actually a book to make fun of Twilight.
It was interesting to see such stuff.
As if there are no more ways to create another Twilight parody.

Soon, we got high due to the alcohol.
We saw people from another roof top and we started to shouting at them saying "Hi".
What a great dream...

If I have the money right now.
I will not hesitate to book plane tickets to Japan and look for Rei.
Sigh.
Money money money.

On a lighter note.
My last paper ends on the 23rd Feb.
While others suffers till March.

1 month to go.
And it marks the end of my Polytechnic journey.
I really got to enjoy as much as I can now.
Hopefully we're able to go for our class overseas trip.

Recently I've been busy revamping my room.

It's one of my New Year Resolution.

So far it's 90% done.
Just lack with some decorations.

It look like a Goth house now.
Oh well.
I really like the whole feel of it.
The red curtain have made so much difference in my room.

There's actually no one out there who sell this kind of red curtain.
My mum bought the cloth and sew it for me.
Cool eh?

Wiping the ceiling fan, windows and furniture is a killer.

I'm glad I did it.

The food was good.

It's like, I can't eat in peace without noticing the stupid timer.

I guess we had fun on that day.

FYP is finally over for me as well as my classmates.
I'm elated when we printed out the report.
It marks to the end of an irritating module for us.

FYP have took away our time and brain.
It was not easy for us to churn out close to 17 thousands of words.
I would like to thanks Rong Yuan for her hard work and not fight back when I sounded harsh at times.
Also, she's there to hear my complaints.
Xin ku lers~

We also got to see how our classmates reacts under stress.
Well, it's not a bad thing.
Through this we know one another better.

There's one more that that I've learn from FYP.

Choose your group mates wisely.

When Jingjing told me about the group mates issue right from the start, I should have heed her advice.
Okay, it's not the first time that I've receive not up to standard work from fellow people who I worked with.
When I was still active in Primers, this kind of stuff happens.
However, even if one of the event committee member screwed up, you will still have the event head to take the responsibilities and make things right.
Even if your event have fail, it would not affects you tremendously.

It's different for FYP.
The job of taking another member responsibilities will only frustrate you.
At the end of the day, all of you will get around the same marks.
So why the hell should I help you pass in your module when you give me work that are not up to standards.

While building up my report, I've cursed and swear to those who have not contributed to the report.
It's okay if you are dumb.
But it's not okay if your attitude sucks and took no initiative to ask what you could help.

Soon, we choose to ignore those who sucked and focus on our report.

What's worse is that.
We did not feel the gratitude from the person for covering up your ass.

So whoever who is reading this right now.
I'm advising you, try not to give in with you emotions.
Even when your classmate begged you to let you join their group.
Even when your classmate is groupless.

Sometimes, you just need to learn to be cruel.

Let's say, you accepted your classmate.
You helped your classmate graduate school and not forwarding modules.
You helped your classmate once.
You can't help classmate forever.
So just let your classmate die.

*This applies to the classmates that you are not very close with.*
* Not very close with means you can't have heart to heart talk with that person*

Trust me, it would be the best choice.
Polytechnic, no longer a playground when it comes to assignments.
You work hard, you score well.

"Welcome to Polytechnic", in some ways have show me more of the realistic side of the world.

Oh well...
This is just one part of my Polytechnic life.
Of course I do have fun in school too.

I'm graduating soon...
I'm gonna miss this place.

I stayed at home and tried my best to tidy up my wardrobe.
The clothes and bags are more organized now....

One thing I hate about tidying up my wardrobe is that it will always reminds me the shit loads of clothes that I have.
When my mum see the amount of clothes I have, I will get nagged from her.
My mum is a women too.
Why can't she understand clothes, shoes and bags are never enough for women.

Maybe she can understand my theory but its just that I'm not earning my money yet and don't really know how precious money is.

I don't know about you, but for me....
When I see clothes that are dirt cheap and nice.
I would buy it.
Dirt cheap I mean $5 - $10.
After that I will showoff to my friends that I bought some freaking cheap clothing.

So even though I have a pile of clothes.
My clothes are freaking cheap and it doesn't cost a bomb.
So doesn't that allows me to buy more clothes since all of it are cheap deals?

Gonna do FYP in school tomorrow even though the library will not be open in the afternoon.
Me and my group mate will just make use of SP power supply and free wifi to the fullest.

It was a success to our post x'mas celebration with my beloved classmates.
Despite the rain in the afternoon.
We still have a great time at Marina Barrage.

Was glad that whoever got my present like the present.

Great food and great accompany = ultimate happiness

What I did in KL during Christmas week...

Acted like typical tourist with my cousin outside bak kwa store...

Went Genting and manage to sit on the rocket and roller coaster....

Took a picture with a fierce looking lion and my grandma taming the lion.

Ate shark fins very sinfully....

Did very little shopping.
The stuff there are either too ugly or too expensive.

Manage to buy 6months supply of contact lenses.

Quarrel with KFC staff on Christmas for a Zinger.
Because we queue for 30mins and we get no burger.
In case you're wondering why we got so worked up just because of one zinger.
Please look at the photo below and you will know why...

They have got chicken, nachos, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise in the burger.
You can't freaking get that in Singapore.
Of course must try lahs!

Anyway, back to my KFC story.
My cousins and my mum went to queue for KFC at The Pavilion in KL.
Pavilion is just opposite our hotel.
The Pavilion is just like Singapore version of Paragon.
Lots of atas brand in the shopping mall.

KFC closed at 10pm, so we queued at 9.30pm.
When it was soon to be my cousin turn to order.
The manager of KFC said the Zinger was SOLD OUT.
But right before that, another female staff shouted to 3 customers at the back who was not queuing.
She said " These 3 zinger is yours".
The 3 Zinger is right in front of us and that manager said it was SOLD OUT.
Clearly they don't know the meaning of Sold out.

Ridiculous.
I can still remember the manager name.
Santiago.
We queued for 30mins and Santiago told us that those 3 zingers were booked by the customers at the back who was not queuing.
They did not pay for the zinger yet.

It's the first time that I know that you can actually book your burger from a fast food restaurant.
Of course they are just sprouting nonsense lahs.
Super disappointed with their services.
It's not some ulu KFC outlet.
It's at The Pavilion....
And we experienced such shitty customer services.

Malaysia Truly Asia...
Are you sure about that Malaysia?
I doubt so....

In the end we manage to get our Zinger crunch at the budget airport before we board the plane.
Die die must try the Zinger crunch...

I had good food everyday.
Stuck on Air Asia plane for 1.5hours before the plane took off due to their system breakdown.

KL Bak Kut Teh is soooooooo much than Singapore's Bak Kut Teh.
No strong pepper taste.
Just clear herbs flavor.

Westin Hotel breakfast was only good for the first 2 days.
Soon you will get sick of their breakfast because there's not much variety of food.

Conclusion?
Bangkok is still the best.
Gonna go back to Bangkok next Christmas.
Hopefully we're able to get some cheapo air ticket.

and....

No more Air Asia.
Gonna book Jetstar tickets this time.

Overall, it was a atas KL trip.
However, Bangkok is still soooooo much better.

It's good to be home.

Pig Trotters Vinegar!!!

I'm a big fan of pig trotters vinegar.
Especially the ones that is cooked by my aunts or grandma.
The taste is really different from the ones outside.

I get it when people can't stand the smell, taste or even the looks of it.

Finally got to see Ruiqi after such a long time!

Anyway, it was good to catch up with these group of secondary school friends!
It was a day that filled with laughters.

I'm glad to see Ruiqi's boyfriend too.
A good guy who knows how to bake and cook.
Of course these are not the basic qualities of a boyfriend.

I'm having 3 weeks break from school right now.

My life has been good.
Just being a student.

Talking about friends.
The 2 types of friends in my life.

A: Friends that you feel like you could be friends with them forever.
B: Friends that you had bad first impression with them or vice versa.

I have a couple of friends who I feel that they belongs to category A.
Right now, I still feels the same towards them.
However, some category A people does not stay with you as long as you expects.
When lots of factors come into the picture.

Surprisingly, a lot of my category B friends upgraded to category A.
Amazing eh?
A lot of them still remains loyal and I'm really glad to have them.

I don't know about you.
Sometimes, I feel that it's really hard to be a good friend to others.
There are a lot of stuff that you will need to tolerate.
At times, I'm really sick and tired in tolerating some of the nonsensical stuffs that they have put me in.

One classic example is people constantly being late.
Yes. At times I will be late.
But not to point that when I'm meeting you at 11am and you're still at home.
10 - 15mins late I'm fine with it.
But not 30mins or to an hour.

I don't know why am I tolerating these stuff from people.
Afraid that they will leave you when you make a fuss about it?
Maybe?
I don't know...

Maybe your own group of friends are the infamous late queen.
You have been tolerating these behavior of them doesn't mean that you should treat me the same as how they have treated you.
Or if you friends tolerate your lateness, doesn't mean that I'm exactly the same as your friends.
If you use how can I tolerate your lateness as how much I like you as a friend.
Then I'm sorry to say that my attitude will appears to you that I don't really like you as much.

When you can be early or even on time for work.
You can't do the same thing to your friends.
Then I only can say some part of you have fail in being a good friend to others.

This is not the first time that I have address this issue.
Can people just be on time for goodness sake?

So people from category A in my life somehow will be downgraded by me due to their lateness.
If you feel that I'm freaking cruel and petty over such small things.
Then you should try to put yourself in my shoes.
If you can't feel my pain.
Then you can just try and imagine you waiting for your bus or train to come for 30mins or 1hour.
Think about the rage in your heart and how you would complain about the services.
Yep. That's how I feel.

I'm sorry if you feel offended from my words.
But that's how I really feel.

Stop taking advantage of me.

Went to my cousin LZ's 21st birthday party.
Well, it was the most awkward birthday party that I've been too.
90% of his friends are guys.
All army guys!
Imagine the scene.
So weird...

But some of them were decent enough to talk to my grandma.

Had the great food and cake and off to vivo.

The last time that I went to Science Centre is to watch some show at the omni-theater with my poly mates. That was like 2 years ago?
I'm so excited for the exhibition.
They have a Grissom office!

Visitors of the exhibition are the CSI personnel to solve the case.
In the end we gonna report our findings to Grissom.
How cool is that?

Okay, for those who don't know, I'm a fan of CSI.
And I'm a huge fan of Grissom too.

Had fun these few days.

Friday went staying over at chalet.
Well, the chalet was fun!
Played wii with some of the girls.
It was super tiring and some of the dance moves were quite funny.

It was quite a disappointment that some did not turn up.

You know, I've got so much to say...

Not pin pointing this issue to anyone out there.
This is just how I feel in general.
No hard feelings.

Sometimes I'll feel disappointed when people go for a gathering just because someone else is going too.
They will give all sorts of reasons like...

"I'm not close with them."
"Is ___ going?"
"If ___ go then I go lors..."
"I don't know lehs, see how lors. If they go then I go"

Seriously?

Kind of sick and tired over this issue.
I think you are being rude to the person who invite you.
Cause eventually you go for the gathering is just because someone else who accompany you along. Not going for the gathering because of the person who invited you.

I understand some people don't feel comfortable with strangers.
But it's an event where you know most of the people there.
It's not like the whole event if full of strangers that you can't talk to.

I'm there.
And I'm going.
So my presence is not enough for you?
So much for being friends?
This only shows how "important" to you.

An answers like " I don't feel like going. " will be more appropriate.

Maybe I just have low tolerance to people for having such behaviors.
To the point that I gave up in asking.

So...
Next time please stop asking me questions like.
"Eh?____ lehs? They never come ar?"
"Why___ never come ar?"

Cause I'm not the factor that they would go because of me.
Sometimes I think too highly of myself to have the power to influence.
The fact is, I doesn't have any.

Even if Philip was at the same gathering as me.
I don't hang around with him all the time.
So don't give any casual remarks like.

Because you weren't even there to see who I hung out with.

It have been damn long since I update my blog.
I'm so sorry.
Have been busy with exams and work.
Oh well.

I'm gonna blog about my whole scam job situation.
I'm not gonna type the company name and which hotel I'm working at.
The company name is call "T__"
If you wanna know more about it, just come and ask me personally okay?

So, before the exams, my poly classmate introduce all of us work.
Which is some F1 job during the holidays.
A few of us were keen to work during the holidays.
So we went to "T__" and register.
We signed a contract for working for F1.
If we breach the contract, we need to pay $25.

After register, one of the guy from "T__" asked us to choose a date for job training.
We chose 17th August.
I remember it clearly because it was one day before my birthday.
Upon reaching "T__" office which is at Clark Quay, we need to pay $5 for a flimsy "T__" card.
They said that we need to have that card in order to gain access to the hotel.
So we paid $5 for the flimsy card.
We had a briefing at "T__" .
Basically, it is just to tell us about the whole grooming standards and more information about the F1 job.
He said that the whole F1 job is just to serve drinks like house pours and maybe clear some plates. Before we work for F1, everyone need to undergo some On Job Training, OJT.
And for the $5 "T__" card, we can get refunded. Because we that card will be exchanged for the F1 access card.

Before 17th August, my classmate told me that someone approached her and asked if we can work for the whole F1 week.
Which is from the 20th - 27th Sept.
All of us agreed and we gave them our names and NIRC no.

During the 17th August briefing, we asked the staff regarding the 20th -27th Sept job offer.
So he said that we're working for "H____" hotel.

So on the 11th Sept, we went to do OJT at "H____" hotel.
The OJT is some wedding banquet.
We had a tough day working because it's the first time that we did banquet.
What worse is that we have to fork out $3.50 for "H____" hotel name tag.
"T__" said that we can claim the money back from "T__" .
That day we worked till past 12am.
So we got to take the cab home and claim money from "H____" hotel.
Some of us paid $20 for the cab fare.

After OJT. 1 week later.
On the 20th Sept. We were told that we were being assigned to do banquet job again!
However, 2 of our friends got chosen for F1.

We register for the F1 job not some banquet job.

If you think that F1 job and banquet job is around the same.
Then you are WRONG!
For banquet, we need to carry lots of food and plates which is super heavy.
Need to portion out the food and etc.
The work is super stressful as you can't afford to drop the glasses or plates.

What's worse is that some of the people who got selected to do F1.
They never even do OJT before!
Which is super unfair to us.
We were replaced by some people who worked for F1 last year.

Imagine working Banquet for the whole week.
You will really feel like dying.

F1 job, potential income:

11th Sept
OJT, 5.5hrs. $6/hr.
5.5hrs x $6 = $33

20th sept
Do size measurement for F1 uniform and briefing. (No pay)

21-23 sept
Do setting up. 9am to 7pm. $6/hr. 10hrs - 30mins break.
9.5hrs/day, 9.5hrs x $6 = $57
$57/day, $57 x 3days = $171

24-26 sept, F1
Working hours 10am - 11pm. $7/hr. 13 hrs - 1 hour break.
12hrs/day, 12hrs x $7 = $84
$84/day, $84 x 3 = $252

*I cancel my work for 2 days because I can't stand the work anymore, 1 Sunday and 1 Wednesday*

Net Income:

$171 + $252 + $33 = $456

Less:
Working Pants = $17
Working Shoes = $20
Cancel of work = $84 + $57

Total net Income: $278

Banquet Income:

11th Sept
OJT, 5.5hrs. $6/hr.
5.5hrs x $6 = $33

20th Sept
Setting up, 5.5hrs. $6/hr.
5.5hrs x $6 = $33

21th Sept
Banquet, 7hrs
7hrs x $6 = $42

22th Sept
Banquet, 6.5 hrs. $6/hr
6.5hrs x $6 = $39

25th Sept

Net Income:
$33 + $42 + $39 + $52.50 = $166.50

Less:
Working Pants = $17

"T__" card = $5

We're UNABLE to claim for the $5.
Because we're not working for F1.

$278 - $129.50 = $148.5 deficit

So, I didn't manage to earn $148.50.
Seriously, I rather work for IT fair.
For IT fair, I work hard for 4 days I still can use the money and buy a $ 200+ guitar.

I will be on hiatus for awhile.

Mainly due to the exams that is coming up and due to other stuffs.
Well, got to know some shocking news for the past few days.

It's amazing to know how people change.
Change in character, ethic, friendship, trust and etc...
Suddenly, it sets me thinking.
Should I put trust in people?

What's broken can be fixed.
But what's fixed, will always be broken.
Because it has left a scar.
It would be hard to not notice the scar that have been left.

I've always wanted to go picnic with my friends.
So yeap, went picnic with some of my poly friends.
Yuan, Qi, Wen and Wen Cai.

I bought 6 hard boiled eggs along with me!
Our dear Hui Wen bought Pasta along!
Well, all I can say is...
Her pasta is awesome.
If I'm a guy, I don't mind marrying her for her pasta.
WAHAHAHA!

The plan of going Marina Barrage was almost canceled due to the heavy rain in the morning.
However, the rain stopped in the afternoon.
Yuan and Qi was late.
So me, wen and wencai set the place out first.

Hahaha. super funny.

Neo's Birthday Party and celebrating the "iLeos" Birthday!

It was a good thing that among us there are 4 people whose Birthday falls on August.
And of course all of us are Leos.
So we had the iFamily.

Anyway, the celebration is at Pearson's Condo.
All of us had lots of fun.
The food were great.

When he said that, we were like "WTF?!"
Erm, we're at chomp chomp. So we can't talk and laugh?
He's being super unreasonable.
He can't hear his customer order, shouldn't he talk louder or bring himself closer to the customer and take the order?
He's bloody rude too.

Tsk. Throughout the whole time, that uncle was staring at us and bad mouthing about us.
*pissed off*

Dessert @ Chinatown with classmates!

Last day of school, a group of us went to Outram Park and register for our F1 work.
It was a super hot day and all of us were carrying our laptops and we feel like dying.

After filling up the forms, we walk over to Chinatown and have dessert since the weather is super duper hot.
Went to this dessert place which is just opposite Anaki jamming studio.

Look at these shaved ice!

$3, Yang Zhi Gan Lu

$5 each, Durian and Green Tea shaved ice.

$6 Strawberry and Mango shaved ice.

Fred is happy with the dessert!

The place is just opposite to the McDonald at Chinatown MRT station.
Highly recommended the Strawberry and Mango shaved ice.
The Yang Zhi Gan Lu was not bad too.
Well, the Durian shaved ice was a disappointment.
The durian taste like artificial durian flavor.

If you're a durian fan like me, the best durian dessert is at Changing Appetite I must say.
Changing Appetite is located at Marina Square Basement 1.
Right next to Swensens and Carls Junior.
Go try their famous durian Mud Pie!
I guarantee that you would like it.

After dessert all of us walk over to central and buy sticky sweets.
Well, I guess sticky is getting more and more popular.
Last time, it would be quite rare to see the sticky crew making the sweets.
Now, every time I made a visit to sticky, I always got to see the crew making sweets.

After we bought the sweets and home sweet home.
Great day with classmates.

Before our first semester of being a Year 3 student ends, all of us make use of the $10 class outing fund for steamboat.

All of us wait for Valerie to finish her dialog session and we head to turf city for our steam boat.

Haha. I'm just joking lahs. I love you girls alright?
Philip is happy by the fact that there's only 2 guys in my class.

Yu Zhi told me that his classmates said that Frederick is damn lucky.
We went Library to chill and Frederick was the only guy.

Anyway, back to the topic. Steamboat!
Mdm Chua joined us for our steamboat session.
She bought along her two sons.
Well, I didn't really catch their names but I know they are damn cute.

The older son said to the younger son.
"You today burped 5 times already lehs."

Cute right?
I know.
Haha.

So yeah, all of us just spam food.
Anyway, Kellie's spicy fish was damn good.

Still looking good.
Because I have not start cooking my food yet.

Well, although the steamboat sucks as usual.
You can never compare this kind of cheapo steamboat with CNY steamboat.
But it's the company that makes it worth while.

Don't really know what's Yan Ru doing.
She exposed the fish balls in her mouth.
I bet 2 years ago she wouldn't do that in front of us.

If you ask me how's my Poly life.
I would say my Poly life is great.
My class is always full of laughter.
Because sometimes we will get so crazy that we don't care about our unglam sight.

Debbie still remembers that the first time she smash a cake in my face.
The next day I was down with dengue fever and I was on the bed for 1 whole week.
Dengue fever reminds me of the stupid nurse/doctor who take my blood test.
She saw my veins was not that visible, nevertheless and poke the needles down.
In the end.

NO FREAKING BLOOD CAME OUT.

So she pulled the needle out and poke the other hand where are veins are more visible.
That is the first time that I took my blood test and she gave me this kind of freaking experience.
Oh well, as years goes by, watching those gore movies have made my heart in to a heart of steel.
That my friends call me a sadist.

After the first blood test, during Sri Lanka preparation we got blood test again.
This time round I see my blood being sucked out I feel nothing.
Well, make just a little painful.
But it was quite interesting to see your blood colour.
Dark red.

See, I've grown up.

In the end I came out with a conclusion.
Even though its sad that this gonna end.
However, I'm glad that I learned lots of stuffs and get lots of experience throughout the whole journey.
I complete one of the biggest goal in my life too.
Which is I get to perform as a band.

The truth is...

"Gomen" gonna disband soon.

Yes. I know we just had our debut not long ago.
My beloved guitarist and bassist leaving for studies and work in Japan.
So yeah.

It's kinda sad to know that we're gonna disband.
After all those jamming sessions.
Oh well, people need to move on. I need to move on too.

For a moment, I was lost after knowing that we gonna disband.
Singing is always something important in my life.
It's my one and only talent that I think I have.
Without it, I'm just some useless person living in Earth.

Kesh told me, "don't get too addicted in to music"
Sorry bro, I can't do that.
I've been singing ever since I'm a little girl.
Without it, part of me dies.

The thought of improving myself in music wise never stops.
That's the reason why I took up guitar.
But my guitar skills were not good enough.
I always tell myself, it's okay. At least I still can sing.
Which is something that makes me feel alive.

I'm just too afraid to fall back in being "Jingyi".
I wanna stay as "Midori" longer.

I don't wanna lose the connection between music and me.
That's why when the band gonna disband, I guess it kinda affects me.

However, looking back at it.
This "music dream" have been a great journey for me.
I got to know a great bunch of people who walk in my life and brought happiness along with them.
I got to know my beer buddies.
Even though not all of them are in the band and plays music.
But we all share the same interest which is music.

If you have been reading my blog you should be able to know how much fun we are having every single time.

I truly appreciates their existence.

So now, "midori" without "Gomen"...
I've yet to decide my future...
But I got to say.

I will not stop singing.

HOT day on Saturday.
The weather was so damn hot that I pulled my shades out.
Went jamming with "Gomen".

Don't really like the jamming session on that day.
I just recovered and my voice was not fully recovered.
I hate the big room too.
It was quite difficult to change the settings of my mic.
But I still got to hear producer Zhen Yang sings. HAHA!

Anyway, I think I need to get new shades.
Oh well, but hard to find any that I really like and suits my face.
It took me quite some time to get this shades.
I still remember walking round and round orchard a few times looking for a suitable shades.

I hate hot weather.

My Sick Diary.

Hey yo~ *dead voice*

Yes, I'm sick now.
Not in the brain but physically sick.
Yesterday I woke up with headaches and my body aches too.

Talked to Rei nee-san through msn yesterday morning.
She told me that those are symptoms of flu.
So I took 2 panadols and went out to meet Zhen Yang for lunch.
For a moment I actually thought the panadols works.
Because my headache seems to subsidies.

Anyway, we had Ippudo ramen for lunch.

The last time that I went Ippudo, I did not get to taste the ramen.
This time round I get to taste the Akamaru Ramen.
Hmm..
Well, I still prefer the ramen at Marutama.
Ippudo Ramen is too oily for me.

Akamaru Ramen

After lunch, went back to school for lecture.
I really feel like sleeping during class at that point of time.
Manage to sit through the first lecture.
Went home after the first lecture.

When I reach home the first thing I did is to took off my contact lens, take body temperature and went to sleep.
My body temperature was 37.1 degrees at that time.
Slight fever.

Lesson learnt.

If you think that your fever will be subsidies after you take a nap and perspire....
Then you are wrong!
Never happen to me before.
My fever always got worse after taking a nap.

Woke up at 6pm.
Mum asked me to visit the doctor but the clinic only opens at 6.30pm
So we got to wait awhile before going to the clinic.
That 30mins was the longest 30mins in my life.

I really felt like dying during that 30mins.

Don't know what's wrong with my body.
When I'm healthy, I can be damn healthy for a long period.
When I falls sick, all of the sickness came crashing down on me.

Fever, Sore throat, cough, flu, rashes and sore eyes.

The weather is damn shiok today right???
Was late for my class today and when I reach the class, only Jascinta was there.
I guess everyone can't wake up on time due to the weather.

Somehow I kinda hate Mondays.
Mondays always full with tutorials.
All of us were super stressed out while doing those tutorials.
We started to go crazy.

Haha.
Well, yesterday was our first gig.
I think we were not bad lahs.

Anyway, after singing some of the audience did told me that our songs were nice.
One of them even did a High five with me.
Haha.
First time got this kind of response.
So I just high five back with him.

For those who were there, I hope you guys have enjoyed it.
Really appreciate all of you who were there.
I know it's super hot and stuffy at the back.

Before going up stage, I drank half a mug of tiger beer.
Shared it with Zhen Yang.
Well, I really thinks the beer helps a lot.
My emcee skills used to be KNS during jamming sessions.
However, yesterday I turned out to be just fine.

Okay. Our performance photos turns out to be quite sucky.
Part of it was due to my sucky camera.
Even yuan, wen and philip asked me to change my god damn camera.

After the gig went of slacking with some beer buddies.
Then we went back to blujaz cafe again because Kiseki gonna perform.

I think Shiro is cosplaying Yoshiki yesterday.

So after the whole gig, we went down to Yello Jello~

While the band was playing "In The End" by Linkin Park.
I was damn high!
Suddenly the band stopped halfway.
The next thing I hear is that bottles and cups start smashing on the floor.
Someone was fighting I guess?
Luckily we were sitting outside.

Well, I came across someone blog yesterday night.
To my disbelief, there are actually this type of person around.

Basically she just wrote about the story behind breaking off with his boyfriend.
There are a few things that I think that she totally makes no sense.
One of it is she said that she will not put his boyfriend as priority just because he's her boyfriend.
Shouldn't it be another way?
All the more you should put your boyfriend as priority than some other casual guy friends?

After breaking off with her boyfriend.
She start bad mouthing about the boyfriend that she just dumped.
I can somehow understand that she needs a place to rant it out.
However, I don't know why she needs to say stuffs that make the guy looks bad in front of everyone eyes.
She wrote it in her blog and say that the boyfriend have been bad mouthing about his friends all these while. Just because now that she is close with the his friends now but that doesn't means she should write such things on her blog. She's just making things worse.
Why would she ever want to do such things to taint someone reputation.

It's just sad to know that human beings affections can be changed at such a fast pace.
From being the sweetest couple that everyone envies.
Now it have come to this kind of sad ending.
Why would you wanna do something like that to the one that you once loved?

Somehow I remember what Zhi Xuan told me once.
He said that when people ask him why did he broke off with the girl.
He would just keep quiet about it.
Because there are no reasons why should he announce it to the whole world.
By not saying anything will be the best thing to do after all.
This will stop those rumors and gossips going on and on.

I've been super punctual to class these few days.
Don't know what happen to me.
It's just that I took lesser time standing in front of the wardrobe and think of what to wear to school.

Which is my Birthday month.
Can't wait to have a mass Birthday Celebration with the Lion Family.

This time round my birthday is during our YOG break.
Finally!
I still remember I was mugging my MBW paper like siao last year.
And the previous year I was mugging for papers too.
This year I can have some peace of mind.

For the past few years I always think that I'm the Queen on my birthday.
Looking back now, I just feel that I'm kinda dumb to think that way.
Of course there are emo times that I wanna celebrate my birthday by myself which is just to buy a small cake for myself, sing birthday song to my myself, cut the cake and finish the cake.

That doesn't happen to me before.
Feel kinda lucky to have people around me that will not forget about me.
I'm blessed.

Right now my mentality of celebrating birthday is just another awesome chance to get all the old friends together and chill out.
Presents are not important.
I just enjoy the time that we spent together fooling around and have fun.
This is what we should all do isn't it?

Not just organising an birthday celebrate just for the sake to exchange presents and wish the birthday girl/boy a "Happy Birthday!".
But to enjoy the company and have great memories that you would not want to forget.

I'm proud to be a Leo.
Lions can look fierce and strong on the outside.
However, when you've gained their trust they will treat you like you're part of their family.
I guess part of me resembles the Lion.

Friday I reached class at 8.05am.
Which was a miracle!

Anyway. Germany is in the third placing of World Cup now.
Damn. I miss the match yesterday.
Because Channel 5 not gonna show the match.
So I thought there's really no point in watching Ozil through my lappy.

First thing in the morning checked the scores and highlights of the game.

Has been late for classes almost everyday.

The modules seems to be bloody boring.

Today I saw something in Facebook.
Someone actually invited me to NDP'10 through Facebook.

I don't really know who start inviting people to the event.
I just think that whoever who did that was quite insensitive?
It's common sense that you need to have the tickets to attend NDP or even the preview shows.

Apparently I'm not the only that feel this way.

This is just like I'm telling you.

Me: "Hey! Come and catch my performance."
You: " Okay. Cool. So where can I get the tickets?"
Me: " Oh. There are no tickets left :D"

Please be sensitive.
There are uncles/aunties out there have been applying for the NDP tickets for 10 freaking years.

Was talking to my classmates a few days ago and we talked about the NDP.
Shini asked if we have any tickets to the preview of NDP.
Well, too bad. This time round me and Rong Yuan were not involve in NDP.
This year NDP motivators seems quite boring?
Heard from the juniors that they have just been slacking during the training.
Ah~~~ those were the days where by we were practicing the dance and wear the ridiculous costume and wave those poms poms.

Back to the topic.
We were talking about it was so hard to get the tickets.
Those people who have seen the show at least once they managed to get the tickets again.
I think the government really need to do something about the system of getting the tickets.
This topic have been discussed but I guess the problem is still not solved?

I suggest that maybe different neighbourhood area should get their chance of watching the show.
This year North area. Next year West area and etc.
Then Yan Ru commented that if that's the case, transportation would be a big problem.
Imagine if everyone squeeze in the same transportation back home.
It would be a disaster. Haha!

My mum just threw some vulgarities at me.
Haha.
Quite funny though..
The thing is, she seldom use vulgarities as compared to my aunts.
So when you hear vulgarities came out from her mouth, it's kinda funny.

I just got home after watching Eclipse with Philip Phua.
Was so damn hungry so she fixed dinner for me.
Curry chicken with noodles. Sounds great eh?

So after I bathe, came out all ready to eat what she prepared.
First mouth, it taste great because I was super hungry.
She asked me how was it, so I said it was good.
She throws another question... " Is the curry still edible? "
Because the curry was left in my fridge for a few days and she suspects that the curry has turned bad.
So I took another sip of the curry.
Damn! It was damn sour. Told my mum about it and she tried the curry too.
She said that the curry has turned bad so we threw everything away.

So there goes my dinner.
Since there's no food, I started munching on the corns that my grandma steamed.

I start to complain to her that the pears that my aunt bought were no longer sweet.
The one that I ate was completely tasteless...
Asked her to clear the fruits before they all turn real bad.
She took the pear out wanted to eat it...

Grandma made red bean soup too.
But sad to say, the red bean was slightly burned.
It is still edible, but the smell was horrible.
So my mum ate the whole thing.

Instead of eating the pear, she drank the red bean soup.
She wanted to put the pear back to the fridge.
I said I was hungry and I will eat the pear instead.
So I let her have a bite of the pear first before I finish the whole thing.
After one bite she said that the pear was still in good condition.
I don't really believe her and I took a bite too.
The pear was damn sweet.

I only can say that I'm damn unlucky yesterday for eating the tasteless pear.
Now my mum was too full to eat the pear so I ate the whole thing on her behalf.
She said...
" You %$@!%$^& de! Let me drink the red bean soup and I'm bloody full now and I can't eat the pear now... "

HAHA!
Seriously..
That is damn hilarious.

Oh well, I had a good laugh.

During the holidays fixed one of the day for Sakae Buffet.
Anyway, I think I'm one of the biggest eater on that day.
Just keep spamming fried tofu.

I think I prefer having Sakae Buffet for Lunch as compared to dinner.
The Causeway point branch, Sakae buffet dinner, the waiters are all so damn busy that they ignore us when we wanted to order.
They took a long time to serve the food too.

It's not because I'm good at drinking.
The reason behind it was I don't drink that much.

So it's just one of the day that I gather all of my beer buddies to our usual hang out place.
Which is flying hog.
The alcohol was considered cheap.

I still can remember lots of epic moments happen on that night...

Neo's shoe suddenly became a cell phone.
Rex can't even remember what he does on that night.
Rei nee-san was super high.
Shiro drank alcohol with tobasco.
Misaki start smiling and hugging some pole.
Yumi got her picture taken with someone.
Kesh tried to do some stunts and fell and he injured his wrist.
Shinn drank beer from beer mug.
Titus mimic someone falling down.
Haru & Sophia was loud as usual

Oh well...
Now we all have something new to laugh at.

Hey yo!
Sorry for the absent for the past week.
Was having too much fun everyday.
Imagine I reach home at 5am in the morning for 3 consecutive days.
That's crazy.

Anyway, went for Street Fest. last week to support my dear Kiseki and Reinaissance.
Shinn-chan was looking good on that day.
Consider that as his first gig.

Kesh also improved A LOT.
Really like the way he slide his bass that day.
I can still remember he stand on the stage like a rock during PBO & Jap obsession.

Some how they rocked the stage during their slot.
Was headbanging like siao with misaki, rei & shinn.
Oh yea, misaki's friend was there headbanging with us.

If she got some headbanging lessons, I would be the first to sign up.

Headbanging is cool.
But the after effects sucks like hell.

After that day, salonpas have been our good friend for the next 3 days.

After the boys done with their performance, we hang around take a few photos and head to xing wang for supper.

Anyway, went drinking session with the girls at White Bar.

Seriously...
I can't get enough with martell coke.

So we sung a couple of songs, play some games and eat the cake.
I think I got addicted to the game.
Was playing 左一拳，右一拳 with bee and Yiai.
Surprisingly I owned them lahs.
When it comes to Alson.. I'm dead.
We were like in a mini bai fen bai section during that time.

When the clock strikes at 3am.
You think the party is over?

NO!

Haha. All of us head down to rebel.
It's been ages since I step in Rebel.
I seriously miss that place.
But oh well... I doubt I will go back to clubbing mode lahs.

Anyway, all of us had fun in Rebel.
Serene was damn high.
When she start kissing us.
Cool eh?
Never see her that high before..
She must be damn happy on that day.

Yi Ai was happy too.

We were kinda sad because the DJ did not play Pitbull's Crazy.
Oh well. Anyway, DJ Will still did a good job lahs.

It was fun.

I think Advance Construction really put lots of stress on Me and Yuan.
The both of us study till 3am yesterday.

While studying, we were discussion about what we're going to learn.
And what are those stuffs that we should drop it.
I seriously think this fellow too stress liaos.
I was complaining that the dumper truck how to draw..
and She drew this for me on MSN.

Seriously ar..
Our drawings standard like primary school kids.
Oh well~

2 more papers man!
Faster finish lahs...
And for the person who set our last paper to ends at 5.10pm.

2 more hours to the start of my first paper.
Sometimes..
I really hope that I can complete all 5 papers in 1 day.
Oh well, but I guess everyone will turn bonkers after that.

I've already start thinking on how should I spent my holidays.
Some of the things that I need to do:

Collect passport & book plane tickets for KL trip
Tidy up my room and wipe the ceiling fan
Start running routine
Meet up with Ruiqi. <3

Some of the things that I want to do:

Suntanning session with Ruiqi.
Meet up with Benny & Nazrul.
Catch up with some J-doramas
Complete watching Fairy Tail
Do some guitar covers
Visit flying hog and hang out with the usual clique
Have Sakae Sushi dinner with my girls. ( yuan, qi, wen & ting) * we've been talking about this since year 1. When can we have our dinner ar??*

Alright. Hope that I can complete the list of stuffs during the 2 weeks break.
Gonna start preparing and go school now.

Hey ya~
I'm taking a break from studying for MST right now.
I think my house is the best place for studying.
Because my house is boring like hell.
No PS3, Xbox and cable TV.

There are still lots of advantage in studying at home.

You can go toilet and not to worried that your belongings will be left unattended
You can take a break by walking around your house or watch the tv for 30mins
You can be as unglam as you want. Clip up your fringe, wear specs and etc.
You can dig for food if you're hungry instead of spending money on fast food & junk food
You can refill your water with ease
You will not be distracted by some stupid kids who're making tons of noise in the library

Oh well, gonna go back and bury my head in the books soon.
